The thing that shocked me the most when I first saw "The Graduate"
was how modern its production values and story were. The film could debut today and I would still be mesmerized by the
uncanny cinematography and very funny and real script. The insecurities, the passion, the arrogance, the lost feeling,
it's all real and all right there on the screen playing for us. Dustin Hoffman makes a legendary performance out of
his first film role and changes the leading man qualities for all time. The camera rolls from one scene to the
next with unparralled expertise. I have not seen better transitions in between scenes ever. How 'bout that?
